Privacy Policy
How BikeFit handles your body measurements and technical data: all calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser.
Última actualización: 2026-09-29
What this policy covers
BikeFit is a set of bike fit and bike sizing calculators. The calculators ask for body measurements such as height and inseam, and the geometry tool accepts bike measurements you type in. You can use every public tool without an account.
Measurements are processed in your browser
All calculator inputs are processed in your browser using local JavaScript. Your measurements are not sent to a server, not stored in a database and not attached to your identity. If you use the same browser for another BikeFit calculator, an optional local copy of your last entered measurements may be kept in your browser's localStorage (keys such as bikefit:lastMeasurements:v1) so you do not have to retype them. You can clear this at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings. We do not collect height, inseam, torso, arm or shoulder measurements on any server.
Technical information and analytics
Like most websites, we may process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as timestamps, browser request headers, error details and basic, non-identifying usage events (for example, that a calculator was opened or a calculation was run — never the values you entered). This helps us understand which tools are useful, fix errors and maintain security. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and providers
We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the website, or when required by law or needed to protect the service and its users. Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics may be processed by a third-party analytics provider; these statistics never include your body measurements or bike geometry inputs.
Your choices
Because measurements stay in your browser, you control them: clear site storage to remove saved measurements and unit preferences at any time. We may update this policy as the product changes; the date above identifies the current version.
